Difficulties with handwriting are frequently cited on referrals to paediatric occupational therapy services. Difficulties with the skill may be influenced by a range of factors including spelling, attention, language and motor skill.

Facilitated by Dr. Mellissa Prunty – Paediatric Occupational Therapist and lecturer at Brunel University – this session will present the findings across a range of studies that have examined handwriting difficulties in detail. Discussion will centre on the assessment and remediation of handwriting difficulties in occupational therapy practice.

Hosted by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, this event is free for members.

Join us on Wednesday the 21st March 2018; 18:00 – 20:00 at Brunel University.
