Description:

Facilitated by Laura Stuart-Neil – Lead for Quality Improvement at North East London NHS Foundation Trust – this session will give an overview of what Quality Improvement is and an introduction to the methodology. It will explore how Quality Improvement can enable occupational therapists and assistants to lead change within their organisations by making both occupational therapy and MDT services more effective and efficient.

The session will include a first-hand account from Daniel Hunter, who has successfully undertaken a Quality Improvement project within a service in Essex. Daniel is an occupational therapist and the Inpatient Therapy Lead at the Mayfield rehabilitation unit in Thurrock.

Hosted by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, this event is free for members. Join us on Wednesday the 15th of Nov 2017; 18:00 – 20:00 and enjoy breathtaking views of London’s skyline from the 29th floor of Guy’s Hospital tower. CPD certificates will be awarded to attendees.
