It turned out to be a lovely evening for chilling out with other occupational therapists in a lovely spot in the park. The weather had been threatening to cause an upset, but the sun came out and we got to see it set behind the trees over the lake.
There were just over 30 of us, arriving from 5pm onwards, mostly coming from work. We had a crate of wine, which Stacey Abraham from RCOT had kindly chilled for us, plus plastic wine beakers and we ordered pizzas for delivery. It’s a good spot for it, with two branches of Pizza Express nearby, for gluten-free pizza bases, and the nearby cafe did a good vegan pizza. Thanks to all who turned up, for a lovely chilled-out vibe, and for helping to clear up.
Keep an eye on our blog, twitter and facebook feeds for details of the upcoming quiz night and study evenings.
If you are interested in getting involved with the work of the Committee, our next meeting is on 14th August 2017, 17:30-19:30. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll provide venue details [please note the rescheduled date — originally planned for 7th August, it will now be 14th August].
